SYNOPSIS
The module is the first part of building construction modules. It intends to develop the understanding of the principles and practices of construction technology in relation to site, building components "below ground", foundation," on ground": floor and staircase, beam and column, wall and opening and "above ground", roof and ceiling.

EXPERIENCING CONSTRUCTION
"experiencing, documenting and analyzing the construction process"
This is a group project, in a group of seven ( Lee Fei Syen, Chin Cheong Soon, Chee Jia Xin, Chew Rui Bo, Lee Jun Yen and Lam Zi Xuan) we have to select an ongoing construction site max of 4-storey building which visibly demonstrates most of the subject topics as following:

So, our selected site is located at Sungai Lalang, Semenyih. It's a Hi-Tech 7 Semi-D Industrial. We need to identify different types of building elements and its construction process,details and materials. We also have to study and record construction of different building elements which we have learnt in this module.

CONSTRUCTION DETAIL AND SPECIFICATION
"explore, apply, document and explain"
The individual second project emphasizes on proposing details for certain sections of a building, both structural and architectural detailing. Our task is to find and analyse the construction of a 2-storey or 3-storey residential building where you need to identify and propose only two (2) construction details for the selected elements of the building: So my chosen construction details are ROOF and STAIRCASE of a Double-storey house located in Bandar Rinching, Semenyih.
After completing this project, I have actually gained understanding and knowledge of construction, material and technology.Besides, I have also develop an understanding of the structural elements in construction and its application in the construction industry. Lastly, I had learnt to demonstrate certain levels of manual drawing, sketching skills and how important detailing relating to construction.
